Are permanent lights worth it?
It depends on how you use your house. If you hang lights every year, or pay someone to, permanent lights replace that work with a single install. If you only decorate once in a while, the math is closer.
The part people do not expect is the other eleven months. Warm white every night, team colors on Friday, orange on Halloween. You start using the lights for more than Christmas.

Yes. Run red and green or warm white. You can also pick an every-fifth-light setting for a subtle look.
What happens to the lights in January?
